Default C6 Sub boxes

Aloha Fellas!

I've seen a few boxes made for the C6, particularly the JL stealth box, and another made by Boxology I believe.....

Are there others, and which one has the most cubes, and produces the best sound in your opinions. A sealed enclosure is a must. I'd like to run a 10" driver, and wouldn't mind anyone in "the know" suggesting a decent sub that matches with the available enclosure size. I like tight hard sound vs. boom.

I'm asking from a Sound Quality stand point, but I do want to get some decent "bump" from it/them. I will only utilize the sub from 55Htz and below, but again, the low end fill is VERY important to me.

I've toyed with the idea of making a custom box, and who knows, I just might. I'd just line to know what is available commercially so that I can make an educated decision. These days, I've got more money than time, so a commercial box makes more sense....

If anyone has had, or knows of someone that has a custom box that looks like it belongs in a C6, please let me know your installers name & a basic price range.

Thanks again guys.....

I build custom boxes for the C6 coupes, verts, Z06's and ZR1's. Feel free to visit my site here, or call me at the shop at 615-907-8125 if you have any questions. I sell my boxes for $300, and I can do a sub combo with the box for about $400.

Nice work, and the prices are right as well.

I have catless BB Bullets, and am going to need something that's going to kick a bit, but don't care for the bigger boxes.

Your suggestion? Maybe two of the low pro boxes? What woofer performs the best in your boxes?

If you can fit a 12, the SIMAG is one of the best sounding subs I've ever heard.
SIMAG, because of the low distortion, is deceptively loud. It runs XBL^2.
It also digs low in just .8 cubic feet of space.
It's shallow (5.5") but the basket barely tapers. Might be tricky with the box.

I'm running one now. Its one of *very* few subs I'll run over 60hz. It will take up to 1000watts. I run 350 to mine and I'm very happy with the output.

Otherwise, I like the IDQ series subs. They make a solid 10 that sounds great.
