Does anyone know?????
I have a c5 coupe with the Bose system. What I was wondering is, can you fit a c6 stereo into a c5? If anyone has done this or knows if it is possible please let me know. Or if anyone has any aftermarket stereos installed please let me see the pics and or how it is done. I have a Pioneer Premium standing by in case thats what I want to replace the stock unit with. I want to keep all the Bose, I just want a better looking head unit. In any case any info would help. Thanks!!

C5 is a 1.5 DIN HU, C6 is a 2 DIN HU. It will fit, but you have to modify the dash. However, C6 radios are 'married' to the car they come out of. They communicate with the other computers in the car and won't work unless they see the proper VIN. Dealers have the ability to set a C6 radio up to a new C6 car, but I doubt they can make it work with a C5.
