Default Lil help please....

OK guys, I'm ready for my install, but I've had the hardest time picking a HU.

I keep going back & forth between NAV and no NAV, DVD, and no DVD, etc.

I hardly drive the car, I'm never going to watch a DVD in it, in Hawaii NAV is just about worthless, so here I am.

Which DD HU has the best SQ, 6 channel RCA out, and IPOD compatible in your humble opinion? Best bang for the buck?

I have the Kenwood DNX-8120 and love it! The ipod interface is the fastest on the market and having touch screen controls is pretty cool. Also, being able to play music off a USB thumb drive is also cool.

But, if you don't need DVD OR NAV why spend the $$$? BTW, I never use the DVD player.

I have the AVIC-D3 with Nav. I hardly ever use it except on long trips, but the touch screen controls for everything else almost makes the few extra $$ worth it.

Happy modding

Looks like Alpine it is....

I'm not much for flip screens so I'd prefer the DD models.

Do you guys like a particular model for SQ, or do you feel that they are all the same....

I was looking at Ebay to get an idea of price, and available features, and have not found that many Alpine units.

I think it's going to be the Alpine IVA-W505, just because of the features. I love the time alignment, the 6 channel RCA out, and other stuff as well.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll keep you posted.
