DNX 7100 NAV locked up
I have a kenwood DNX 7100 that has only been inservice for about 6 months. The NAV has always been ticky and will get locked up. The voice over ofter studders so much till its not understandable. The other day the unit locked up and I shut it off and turned it back on after 10 minutes. It says loading maps and is stuck on that. I have did a reset and unhooked the ground wire to try to re set it with no luck. Any ideas?

So its still stuck loading maps? What you could do is pull the power from it, try to turn it on and then wait for 15 seconds or so. Like doing a power reset on the PC. You would either have to unplug the harness from the unit or unplug your car battery (disconnect neg. cable).
Then see what software revision you have and if there is an update do that.
