Flip out screen questions
Thinking about a flip out screen radio for my 93 and have a couple questions.
1) how long do the motors last that drive the screen?
They do not look very sturdy.
2) What are the best brands?
3) When the screens come out, how far do they project, ie. will it clear my a/c controls on my 93, the are about an inch farther out than the radio?

Can not answer the all of your questions completely, but I can say that my Kenwood flip out is very sturdily built and has given me 2 yrs of trouble free operation. It is fully adjustable in regard to screen angle and distance of screen from dash. In other words, it would clear you climate controls without issue. HTH
