QUICK HELP....CIG Lighter
I am replacing my cig lighter with a radio shack one....How do i get the old one out of the plastic dash??? Thanks

I was trying to get to mine last weekend but couldn't quite get the panel removed. There are 2 nuts underneath the traction control button panel that need to be removed. Traction panel just pops out. Then pop out the cover next to your ignition switch and remove the screw there. There are also 2 screws in the ashtray area to remove. The panel should pop off after that, I just couldn't get mine to come out all the way.
I was adding a cig lighter in the ashtray area to use a cell phone charger/holder but ended not liking the results when I was done so I hard wired it and mounted it to the panel next to the ac controls.
Hope this helps a little. You might copy this to the C5 General or Tech sections for help.
