I thought Lanzar's were a good quality amp. I am looking for a fairly decent 4 channel. 100w/channel amp. Any suggestions.
I am not looking for a system to wake the neighbors, or to go boom boom down the road. I just want a good quality sound.

Lanzar used to be good amps a few years ago but they were always known for their power delivery and not there sound quality. My suggestion is to go with a good brand but not neccesarally to go with the top line that they offer. That way you will still be getting a good product and not spending a lot of money. Check out Phoenix Gold and Soundstream.
Tony, check out our new Kicker KX800.4. It is 200x4 or 400x2, and has a remote gain and built in fan. Then our next smaller is the KX600.4, rated at 150x4 and 300x 2, same fan and remote gain. The next smallest would be the KX300.4, rated at 75x4 or 150x2.

My favorite amps are A/D/S. Very good include Soundstream, Nakamichi, Orion, Phoenix gold (high end line). Good are Rockford Fosgate, Phoenix gold (average amps), JL Audio. Its hard to quantify and by no means is this comprehensive. Usually stick to a company that makes amps and not other things like decks or speakers. Remember, you get what you pay for usually and most amp companies are not rated using the same rating guidelines. You will find the high end amps having "low" power ratings compared to their actual output.
Just and FYI, most all the companies you mentioned sell car speakers as well. And true, some companies show power ratings of 14.4 volt or some as high as 16volt. So a more realistic is 13.8 for an average vehicle.
