Quick connect/disconnect amplifier power.
Does anybody use one?
I want to put a sub box in my car with the amp built into the box. I want it to be removeable without dealing with unscrewing wires.
I was thinking of a connector like is used on a winch set up or maybe the twist connectors used for welding stinger and ground cable. That way, I could just coil the RCA, power and ground wires into the rear storage cubby and pull the box out. The amp I want to use doesn't require a remote wire, it comes on when it senses input from the stereo (JL Audio 500/1).
