Well they charged $85 an hour to come to the house, it was $65 an hour to take it there at the shop. Didn't want to do that as they would have done whatever they wanted and charged for more than they did prob. I was also able to watch the guy who wasn't terrible but a little sloppy and he said he was trying to be real careful cause my car was so nice.

So I had put in a double din, had the double din brackets and all ready and had it in place, had all 4 speakers in place and wired, amps in and screwed in place, sub/box in and in place. All he did was wire the deck and put the speaker wires and power wires where they go on the amps and subs. Took him 2 hours so that was 175 with tax and then they charged another 100 for parts which was a dual distribution block with 2 200 amp fuses, 5 feet of 4 guage wire, 1 4 channel rca and a couple grounding terminals.

He then also grounded my amps near where the gas tanks are now that I think about it, on top of the center divider on a coupe.
How much room is there before you have hit the gas tanks there!?

he also didnt hook up the speed sensor said it wasnt needed on a avic d3.
Also what is the rss signal do I need that? And my backup camera displays upside down any way to turn that the right way?

Was this a good deal overall and did he his the gas tanks with what he did??

Flip the camera over its upside down. I do installs and from what you saying in the post that is a sloppy install. IMO.

 

okay but how do I flip it around its mounted and this is the way it needs to be if its to use its adjustable movable features at all

look in the menu's on the d3 im pretty sure u can reverese the camera from within the menus

 

yeah thats what i was looking to do...even the guy who installed it couldn't figure it out

 

I bought it new over 2 years ago I can not remember but it was a suggestion of the forum

 

i could sware somewhere on the d3 you can do it

 

I wish you knew where before i try taking my camera apart to turn it upside down
