Default Good 7 inch touchscreen screen?

Thinking about doing a carputer setup with a 7 inch touchscreen molded into a din 2 dash bezel. What are some good brands of 7 inch touchscreens out there that will last a good while?

Hey Bears Fan! How exactly did you go about filling in the spots where you cut out the top bar? I've got an 8.4 inch in mine, but haven't gotten around to filling in the spot where I cut out the top bar. Also what kind of monitor are you using? I got an expensive transflective to ensure it would be bright enough, but it hates the cold. The touchscreen doesn't work for crap when it's cold out.

Froman,
As far as brands go, I got mine from carTFT.com (I think). It's the only one I've tried, but as you can see above, it isn't perfect. Make sure and get a mini keyboard with a mouse on it (I recomend the Logitech dNovi).

I use mainly a SEM product which is a two part epoxy filler. The rest is an ancient Chinese secret
