Another C5 stereo question.....
Hey everybody!! Sorry, I am not a technical guy when it comes to stereo stuff....for some reason I have never seemed to pick this stuff up...let me get to the point, I have a 99 coupe with the factory Bose system. the head unit does not have a cd player, but I have a 12-disc in the back.....unfortunatley the magazine for the 12-dics is missing 
I went to Car-toys the other day to discuss installing my Kenwood head unit (just a standard single-din cd player). They stated that in order for me to keep all of the Bose speakers functioning, the "special" wiring harness was 129 bucks....I immediatley started laughing and walked out. I have been searching for the correct wiring harness and I think I have finally found what I am looking for.... http://cca.madvettemotorsports.com/s...ct_detail&p=68
This is the SVEN2 & smart harness (SVHGM4) for $55. All I want to do is replace my head unit and keep all of the Bose speakers operating as they should. Will this work for my application or is there something else I should look into?
