need audio advice
restoring a 1980 and im wanting a kickass sterio system in it im about ready to put new dash and carpet and fatmat in car.
i dont know what to buy i see amps rate at d,and other ratings what does this mean?
can you guys design me a system for this car that will rock.
im going to spend up to 1500.00 dallars on the system.could go up to 2000.00 if i have to.
im 40 years old and have not put a system in a car since i was 18 years old.i do know how to solder and good at wiring things up
can you guys give me ideas on what to buy to complete this job.
instead of going directly to a store salesman and asking him this i thought it would be better to ask you guys, that now this stuff.

please use raamat instead of fatmat if you haven't purchased already. It's a better product and you will be buying from a supporting vendor. 
And check out my "shaolin deadening trick" thread so you don't waste money on way more deadener than you actually need.
It sounds like you need to know "Everything"
My suggestion is to start poking around install threads and see if there's anything you like.
We also need to know what level of custom work you're willing to do (If you are handy with anything like that) and if you're going for bass heavy, neutral... whatever.
And check out my "shaolin deadening trick" thread so you don't waste money on way more deadener than you actually need.
