What size wire?
I have two ALpine power amps in the back of a C5 ZO6. I am running a power wire from the battery to the amps. I am running the ground to a seat bolt. The manuals say each amp should use an 8 wire fused at 50 amps. What size wire should I run? Can I get away running both on one 4 or 8 gauge wire? Should I run two 8 wires?

From: ECS : WTF did you break now and HTF did you break it this time
I'd do a 4 from the battery back, split into two 8's or you can just do two 8's front to back, but definetely not a single 8 front to back.

either do a 4 and split it, or 2 seperate 8s

Run a FUSED 4 gauge into a FUSED distribution block which splits it into 2 8 gauge wires.
you can also use a ground block and a single grounding point. May I suggest the factory ground in the passenger b pillar instead of the seat?
You do not need to fuse the ground.

Where is the pillar ground located?

Found it. That's a great place to ground the amps in the rear because the wire can be routed behind the covers. Thanks to all.
