I'm installing a DNX8120 today. The 8120 interface accesses FM, DVD, Ipod, and USB sources; but there's no audio. Onstar and chimes are functional, and the factory CD-changer generates audio. All the connections are soldered and appear correct.
I'm using GMAH24B Integration, GMAHCM Chimes, and SWI-JACK Steering Modules (the SWI-JACK isn't yet connected to the factory harness or programmed).
Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
The GMAH24B instructions specify the rear connections aren't used, but I connected them anyway.
Yup. When all else fails, read the directions. Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately some of the instructions aren't written correctly. The stock C6 stereo has an amplifier, but some of the adaptors don't seem to know that, so they don't tell you to hook up the remote trigger.
