If you have bose, then the harness should come with RCA connections that you plug into your pre-outs on the kenwood. Make sure on the harness you turn on the amp by hooking up the blue/white wire on the deck to the harness
The GMCO has yellow and black wires coming out of the plug, they are the battery and ground wires for the yellow and black wires of the 8120.
The red wire coming out of the GMCO box unit is the switched power wire that connects to the red power wire of the 8120.
The blue/white wire coming out of the 8120 connects to the blue wire at pin B3 of the GMCO.
The 8120 has female RCA plugs for the line level outputs that connect to the male RCA plugs coming out of the GMCO connector.
Connecting those wires will get you working. If you're missing any you probably need to get a new harness for the 8120 unless you can find info on where to put a new wire.
The other wires on the 8120 don't have to be connected, but if you want to you can connect the orange/white dimmer control wire coming out of the 8120 to the car at the TC/AH button. Connect it to the GRAY wire under the button.
I am glad I ran across this thread I also have the 8120 and love it also does anyone know how to program it for the Garage door opener I lost one and have to switch it from vette to truck and it would be nice to program stereo to do it TIA to the person that can help me
as far as beeps this could be totally wrong just throwing it out there, i seems to recall on some headunit, quite possiably this one, the beeps only came over the speaker level outputs not the rca outputs

The NPP uses an external 12v supply to control the exhaust. Get yourself a 12v automotive relay (under $10 at Radio Shack). Connect one of the remote leads from the 8120 to one of the coil pins on the relay, connect the other coil pin to ground (coil pins are usually 85/86).
Connect battery constant power (or whatever supplies your MTW gizmo now) to one of the relay switch pins (30/87), connect the other switch pin to whatever wire controls the exhaust valve solenoid.
Set the 8120 to supply a constant 12v when you turn on the external control. That 12v (very low current) will close the switch inside the relay, allowing the higher current 12v from the battery to control your exhaust.
