Well,I got one step closer to my audio upgrade today. Thanks to Scott at Hybrid Audio I have a set of Legatia L6 mids and L1v2 tweeters coming my way. Incredible customer service over there. I have talked with him numerous times and only 25 minutes after payment,I already had a UPS tracking email. I am really getting excited about this project.

Congratulations. I've had mine in since August and they produce an awesome sound. You'll really enjoy them.
I decided to do an extreme upgrade of my system and wanted it to look as “factory equipped” as possible. Here is the outcome.
Installed Second Skin Damplifier Pro throughout the cabin, including covering the Tonneau and Trunk lids. Also padded space between doorframe and panel with Second Skin Overkill Pro
Changed out the Bose system for a Kenwood 9140 Navigation and Audio deck. Added XM Tuner and License Plate Camera. DD modification was done by Ray at California Corvette Customs
Added kick panels with 2 H.A.T. Legatia L4 speakers
Will replace Bose OEM rear speakers with H.A.T. Imagine speakers when released for shipping
Installed 2 ARC Audio ARC82D 8” subwoofers. Fabricated them to fit in the two lateral trunk storage compartments
System is driven by ARC Audio KS900.6 Amplifier with ARC Audio 3-Way Crossover and Sub Sonic Filter, installed in the center trunk storage space.
For security, I added AutoPage RS915 Remote Start with Alarm and MySkyWay remote tracking system
I chose to have all of the work done by local audio shop professionals because much of the work was way beyond my skill level and technical acumen. The guys spent hours acoustically balancing the system and it is, IMO, a championship install. I could not be happier. Yes, it was expensive, but I love my Corvette and have really enjoyed making various modifications.
Wow. Nice setup. I'd love to see all the pics you have. I was trying to figure out how you did what I was assuming was the hatch, now I see you have a convertible. Guess I answered that question.
