2 ohm speakers
My boy has a 2000 Camaro with the Monsoon sound system. The mid mounted speakers sound great, with just the type of bass I'd like to get in my C-3 convertible.
These are stock GM speakers (P/N 16235651) and are 2 ohms.
My radio and amp are for 4 to 8 ohm speakers.
Can I wire two of these speakers in series to get the 4 ohms I need? Has anyone done this before? Does it affect sound quality?
I'm a noob at sound systems and really don't know if this is a proper fix for this.
