Default 3-way Component Speakers

Having a hard time finding any, either really cheap stuff or too rich for my blood (Focal) .....do companies like JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate not make 3-way components anymore? I really like the JL Audio XR Series 3-ways, but there discontinued.

....Wanting to put 3-ways in the front doors to go along with my 2 6.5'' subwoofers going in the rear speaker slots.

thanks in advance,

Jacob

If you are dead set on a 3-way, hybrid-audio is the one I would choose. They are expensive though. You might try cdt audio as I am pretty sure they have a 3 way set. I use one of their 2 way component sets in my other vehicle and they sound good IMO.

I know Eclipse makes a 3-way component system, but I believe it's not what you're looking for.
What about DLS? I heard their systems are pretty good.

What's your budget? Someone on Craigslist had a set of Morel Elate 3-way speakers for sale for $699, they're about $1500 on woofersetc.com and about $1800 retail I think....wish I could utilize them, but already bought a set of Boston SPZ-60's. Someone else on Craigslist is selling a 3-way set of older Focal Utopias (they called them Ethopias in the ad....) for $350. That's a great deal if they're working, they were probably $1200-1500 originally. Here's a link: http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/ele/1539485886.html

what kind of custome door panels and interior modifications are you going to use to overcome the additional sound quality problems caused by 3 ways?

I'm not just gonna take a piece of MDF & mount them behind the door skin.

I know how to install 3-ways....& car stereo for that matter.
