Couldn't find it in my search, I did this to my personal car a while back but, now doing my brothers and forgot a few things.
We're ditching all the bose **** and running all new speaker wire from the new deck. I know I can get power down by the pass footwell but my question is what wire do we splice into for the remote kick on deal. We are not using any harness.
Without using some kind of aftermarket gizmo (like a designated radio harness or the Accessory Valet) you'll loose RAP.
The three wire pigtail by the fuse box (click here for schematic) has ground (black), constant (orange), and switched (yellow). Use those wires to power the radio, but if you use an external amp you need to run separate power/ground wires and use the 'remote amp control' from the radio (usually blue/white) as the trigger.
