Default C5Z keep partition if going with sub in back?

Guys: I am still contemplating my options when I install the Avic-Z2 in my C5Z.

If I decide to ditch the Bose speaker system, and go with a amp, new speakers front and back and a sub in the back deep cubby.. do I have to give up the partition between the trunk/passenger area because I put a sub in the back?

If I do have to get rid of the partion: What about something like this on the rear shelf behind the seats for a sub enclosure?

My thought: something like above for the subs, but mount inside it the amp/crossovers etc to feed the new rear and front speakers as well. Keep the partition and trunk area as is.

Remember I am novice here. I am just looking for a sound improvement, but I don't want to get to extreme or have a major complicated installation since I want to do this myself. But I also DON"T want it to look like sh*t.

What if I did something like this?
But flip it around to have the sub face forward.
Then install on each side a left and right speaker.
Inside I install a single 5 channel amp, and I could throw in my NAV, and ipod adapters as well for the AVIC. That would be pretty slick.

It would give me the whole trunk like I want. Plus it wouldn't be too permanent, that way if I sell the car in the future, the whole assembly pulls out sans power and speaker wires. Or if I go auto-crossing, I just pull it out as well.

What do you think of this?

I know it says for a C6, but I can't see why you could build something like this for the C5Z.

I could then abandon the rear C5Z speakers in place, upgrade the front speakers, and maybe install some little tweeters in the door handle area.

Seems to solve a lot of my problems in one big swoop.

I just did an install with components, sub and amp and I left the partition in. I built a stealth box in my FRC and covered the sub anyway...I don't think you need that sub to be aiming at you to get good sound, but Penta can correct me there if I'm wrong...
