It would be touch in a C6 w/power seats. I'm not sure about the C5 w/power seats.
You can cut the carpet to gain an additional inch or so of depth to clear the seat.

You'd be better off using spacers under the seat, then cutting the carpet. Spacers are much easier to reverse should you ever to decide to return to stock and sell the car.

Yes, I put 4 long strips of 2" Velcro round the outside edge of the amp and a strip down the middle and it held nice and tight. This was on my C4 with manual seats.
When I changed amps, I had a heck of time getting it to let go.

Funny thing is: I looked up behind the dash (behind the glove box). There is a little void there adjacent to the passenger fender area (directly above the passenger light), but not that much. I don't think I can squeeze my XM Nav Module, blue tooth module, and possibly my Ipod module up there.

I am now thinking going with a rear drink tray holder that sits on the shelf behind the seats. Open that bad boy up, install above modules, and leave myself room for Phase II audio upgrades (amp etc).

you deff can fit all those modules behind the glovebox dash area, and/or under the radio
