Sorry to dig up on old post. I seem to be having this issue with the regular PAC OS-2. PAC now lists the relay by-pass for the OS-2 on the PAC site as well. From what I gathered here, I can just run the remote turn on directly to the other side of the PAC module. Why does that PAC documentation recommend using a SPST relay and not directly connecting the remote turn on wire?

no clue why they say use a relay
run the turn on wire from the radio to the output side of the pac but splice into it so that way it can still enable oem amp if it needs to for chimes and onstar, at least that is how i have been doing it
