How much trouble would it be to put a Kenwood rear camera in the front of my 2008 vette. I will be installing a Kenwood 6960 Navi. I am not to worried about backing up. I have more trouble judging the front. Thanks in advance.
It wouldn't be any more trouble than installing it in the back, which isn't much.
You'd have to manually select the camera on the HU, on some models that isn't easy, but can almost always be done.
Some cameras flip the image, some don't, some are selectable. Some HU's may also? Just be sure the camera you get and the HU you use will display the image properly (as you see it out the windshield, not reversed).
I didn't use a Kenwood camera, but I put a camera up front for parking also.
I'd like to see pics of this! my Z110 has an aux video input which would be great to be able to add both a front and rear camera. I've thought having something like that would be nice.
Really like to see pics and camera type recomendations. I got an AudioVox camera in the back which works OK, but not really great. picture quality is adequate but not as good as I was hoping for.
