Sorry to wake up, the second copy of this thread. I have the exact same problem and would love to here the final resolution.
I have my used replacement Bose head unit waiting in a box. Will this fix me too? Is the text "theft lock" on the face of it, a problem? Or is that just saying you can't put it in a non-Corvette?
