2000 FRC non Bose speaker replacement

I want to replace the speakers on the vette they are all blown, i have a non Bose system. what size for the fron and rear dont want anything fancy just 4 speakers to replace the factory ones? What is the size for the front and the rear?

Most likely you have 3.5 in the doors and 5.25 in the back, along with powered subs in the doors. However, there's a chance you don't have the subs and have 5.25 all the way around.

I'd have to recommend pulling a door panel to see what's there

if you truely have a non bose system i do not know what your doors look like, i would love to see a picture

im pulling the covers this week end and installing some 5.25 Rockford Fosgates in the rear ill take some photos, i dont even have a CD/Changer just the cassette, the Bose option is not listed on the list of options in the glove compartment.

the rears are all the same, its the fronts on the non bose cars no one has ever really posted a pic of to my knowledge

I changed out the rear speakers and there were Alpines in there, weird they sound like crap, I put the new kickers in and they sound real good. I will work on the fronts this week, I will post the pics also.

Can you take out the grill to replace the front speakers or do you have to remove the entire panel to get to them. I have a 99 Vert with a bose system.

The ONLY C5/C6 speaker you can swap by just taking the grill off is the rears on C5 coupe. All others require the entire panel to come off.
