Tapped into XM for iphone. So quiet!

Anyway to make this louder? I have a new 32gb 3gs and its very quiet when I plug it in. Like half of a CD or radio. Funny thing is, the gfs old 3g 8gb is very loud in my car. I have everything turned up....am I missing something here?

what are the audio settings on the iphone? so you have the volume limit on?

Are you using the headphone jack for audio? If so a line driver may be in order.

its basically an amp for a low level signal. it boosts the voltage of the signal. you can get cheap ones like Audiopipe or expensive ones like Audiocontrol.

You might have the setting for audio turned on. Look in settings, IPOD check Volume Limit, if it's on then turn it off. It's an automatic volume limiter so you don't blow your ears off using the headphones..........
