WTB: Recommendations for single DIN CD head unit w MP3 input front face
Looking for something inexpensive for my C4 DD. Seems my volume button went out on my 12+ year old Sony ES. I guess I got my moneys worth, shame to replace for just a button, but I don't think worth repairing, and would like to attach my MP3 player.
PS: Does an AUX input and an "MP3" input work on the same frequency, so sound quality is the same?
Also any recommendations of specific units? I have not looked into car stereo for some years and it changes so fast and so much to choose from. thanks

I have found that the Aux input sounds bad, I would go with a headunit that has an usb and you can hook up an ipod that way or a flash drive. Alpine, Eclipse, Kenwood all have units you can do that with.

This one looks pretty good and will do all I need Alpine CDE-103BT, plus the bluetooth would be nice, if I needed to use the phone. What do you think? I would just be swaping out old and plugging this in to Alpine 4 ch amp to Infinity Kappa speakers.
