Default C6 Amp Question

I bought subwoofer box for my car and got to thinking about where to put the amp. Is there an amp small enough to fit in the little compartments in the rear or is there a spot that folks are hiding them? I didn't think there would be enough room to put under seat. Any ideas or pictures?

One idea is behind passenger seat as in this post.

Arc Audio has the minis which are small. I have two in my setup.
I'm not sure how much airflow you will have in the small compartment though.

Yeah, I started to post mine, but mine are not hidden. Goldstar Audio in Irvine made this setup for me. The Arc Audio minis are of two different lengths and this makes the outer appearance look similar in size. The sub is an Arc Audio 8 inch. Perfect for me as I don't like or do that thump, thump, thump, rap music.

Any of the Alpine PDX line amps will fit in the rear compartments. I have the Alpine PDX-5 (5 channel) mounted in the right compartment and the JL Stealthbox mounted in the left.

Here's a couple of pics that may help:

Somewhere there are pics of two different installs with two of the PDX amps in the storage cubby. One install had a mesh screen put in place of the stock door, so the amps would get better cooling. Sorry - couldnt find those easily.

Sorry, don't have any pics but the amp is mounted to the "front wall" of the bin. It is just held in place with screws. It was installed by Dave Hale (Madvette). Dave also fabricated anew cover for the bin which is made from perforated metal and the frame for it is covered wth carpet to match the original. I think he has pictures on his website.
