JVC problems
I bought my vette with a JVC cd/cassette head unit in it. I recently noticed that it kept turning itself on, and now it flickers on and off all the time. I just got done checking all the wiring and i'm getting a steady +12vdc and i moved the wires around and everything and the voltage never jumped. I tried hooking it up to a 12v source, but for some reason it wouldn't power up at all.
And Idea's on this one guys? I would like to be able to listen to the radio though I can barely hear it with my exhaust.
My guess is that something inside the headunit is shorting out.

Yeah, I do not like JVC. I worked at Circuit City for 3 years and they were always coming back to us :nonod: . I'd like a nice Alpine, but I haven't seen any full sized ones.
No offence, but not a big Pioneer fan either. I like the higher $ line like Alpine ;).
