need some help with c3 aftermarket deck
So i had a customer come in today for an aftermarket deck in his 74 or 75 vette.
I am not much of a classic car guy, as this car was produced before i was even born
I have seen guys with after market decks, but i can't find a dash kit for them. I checked both scosche and metra. There isn't much here for c3 audio. I am pretty busy at work, and with side work, so making a custom kit will be too consuming. Where can I buy a kit?

You don't need a dash kit. The C3's opening is single DIN with posts. The customer has two options, you can cut away the post parts and just mount it into the dash plate as if it were a kit or you can buy pre-cut dash plates. I know Ecklers carries them, others may as well. 74 or 75 has very little value growth potential in my opinion and since he's obviously not a keep-it-stock freak because he came to you, I'd say cut away.

i know i have to cut the shaft style out, but it looks as if the dash bezel is rounded near the bottom. It almost looked like a semi circle on each side

Not sure what the rounded part you're referring to is, but that is also identical to what my '80 was like as well. Really shouldn't be an issue.
