You could probably get away with the JL 300, and since you're only running 2 channels you could bridge it to push out the 150w RMS it's capable of in that format. Are you planning on running the sub off 2 of the channels bridged, or getting a separate amp for it? Basically I'd try to get an amp that can feed minimum 75w RMS but closer to the 150w RMS max those speakers are capable of, and the sub needs around 125w RMS as well.
Budget is important for sure. I spent a little under $700 bucks for deep bass. Extreme volume was a welcomed "occasional" benefit but the purpose was to have enough headroom for the low notes. It can be heard from well over 3 blocks away. Shakes the windshield soo badly you can't see anything in the rearview mirror, basically it's too loud to be safe without earplugs. And it sounds incredible at normal levels.
I chose a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt mono amp mounted using a 4 gauge kit with just one 10" IDQ wired for 1 ohm in a completely hidden 3/4" mdf stealth enclosure I made with a table saw from some plans here on the forums. I also purchased the wired remote for the amp and put it my dash, not all songs have well balanced bass tracks.
You could go quite a bit louder but you'll have to sacrifice interior space.
Yep, the sub as well. It seems the 150 number is the main ingredient regardless of manufacturer, correct?
Yeah that's what it seems like. I'd find a 4 channel that can provide 2 channels at 150w RMS each, and the last 2 channels bridgeable to 150w RMS. That should give you what you need. As pentavolvo asked, budget would be helpful for brand recommendations
