A good "LOL" for audio guys
I wasn't really in the mood to build a fiberglass an enclosure for the rear of my custom speaker mount so instead I half-assed it. I found that a small set of plastic salad bowls fit the area i needed nicely and screwed them into the speaker plate.

I sealed theem with a layer of hot glue and silicone. It worked....at least for a little while. The other day i noticed my passenger speakers were making a rattling noise at certain frequencies that sounded very much like loose plastic. I ordered a set of professional grade baffles of similar design from ebay and will bee using those to perminantly fix the problem.
Lesson learned: Salad bowls and speakers do not go together.
