NAv Experts Step Inside
Please review this and see if there any mistakes. I haven't seen anyone put the three together and I hope to have something everyone one can use. I doubt that there's much difference between NAV unit wiring, so this should be helpful to anyone installing a NAV

So basically what I'm saying is that those of us with tons of experience know that it's not worth the time it would take to unravel your diagram (with REALLY dark graph lines on the scan making it very hard to see) when this is really common, easy stuff.
Please don't take offense. I know you're just trying to get the job done right, but that's just how it is...
100%Without a link to online instructions for the GM11 (which I can't seem to find), how are we supposed to know how that thing works

It doesn't matter if your car is Bose or non-Bose, if you're keeping the stock amp/speaker setup, you need to supply the oem harness with the line-level signal that comes out of the RCA plugs from the new HU. The only reason I mentioned that is because my brief search did show that a GM11B exists, that may be the one you need. If your instructions have an option for bose or 'premium' bose, use the normal bose instructions on ALL C6 (both bose and non).
Anything other than power and audio is NOT present in the oem harness. For illumination/speed sensor/backup/whatever you need to connect in other locations of the car. Just because the interface has an orange/white wire in it, that doesn't mean it will function properly in a C6.
This thread shows 90% of what you need to do, plus more. The only thing it doesn't have is the fact that the gray wire at the TC/AH button is where most people connect the illumination wire. One thing to check on first, some aftermarket units need a 12v signal to come on to indicate the interior lights are on, which then dims the display for night time driving, some use a true dimmer control input with a varied voltage, the gray TC/AH wire is a true dimmer wire.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask away, but even after I flipped it over to read the writing that drawing was still way to hard to follow
My remaining questions:
1) I'm using the stock amp and speakers. I assume the blue/white from the interface harness supplies the power to turn on the amp (P. CONT) through the radio harness
2) There has been a lot of back-and-forth concerning the need for a 5V to 8V signal for the antenna. Some say they've used it and it helps, some say it works better without. That is confusing.
3) Does the Kenwood require 12V for illumination or a true dimmer wire. Where can I pick up the TC/AH grey wire for illumination if I need a true dimmer?
I appreciate the repsonses. They may have saved me from installing this with the incorrect interface.

2. forget about the 5v, since you're using stock amp you already have 12v applied to module, if reception is bad worry about it later
3. don't know, it should say in instructions that came with unit, or try a kenwood forum
GMCO is easy to install... Red-yellow-black match to HU wires, plug in RCA's, blue/white from HU to blue on gmco. That's it. All of the other wires from the HU need to be connected directly to the car in other locations.
If you're installing a steering wheel button interface, the purple wire at A6 needs 12v supplied to it, and the dark blue wire at A7 is the one that gives the button signal to your SWI gizmo. Unless you move the orange wires in the gmco harness, you need to splice into the radio harness.
All of the other wires are shown in the link in my last post.
If you need them, C6 schematics are all HERE

Mark's dead on in his advice. That wire can be a little tough to ID in the harness as its close to another color that's there, but it's definitely gray and if you don't second-guess yourself on the color you'll get it first time.
