One question or comment.. Are you aware that the IDQ sub is larger in diameter than a standard 10" sub. If that is a JL stealthbox, was it modified to accept the IDQ10?

Oh and 'good luck'!

Nice list of components. I think you will be very pleased with the results. Those little Arc Amps pack some serious punch for the buck and their size! I have been pretty impressed with mine so far.

Nice, I just got done installing the Kenwood DNX9960. You should definitely connect the Center Channel speaker to a separate amp channel for some amazing 5.1 Surround Sound.

Only issues I have with the unit is the UI is a little laggy compared to the Pioneer AVIC and you can't hear the touch tone beep sound when connected to the pre-outs for use with external amps.

Good list of gear bro, spend some time getting the midbass and mid mounted and angled correctly behind the factory grill to try and minimize the amount of reflections.

Careful with the cowboy kit as well as some of the interior pieces will not want to snap back in correctly because of the added thickness, and make sure you cut the seat tab areas large enough to get the threads you need to get bolted in.

Also try and plan your wiring routes prior to any connection and test fit some interior pieces to make sure nothing will get pinched, and obviously avoid the signal cables near existing power wires. Try and keep your speaker wires 1 continuous length, as there is nothing worse than putting everything back together and realizing your splice/solder is loose and your speaker is cutting in and out. (ask me how I know)

Spend a little money on your RCA's, but don't spend money on speaker wire. Anything 16/18ga will push whatever you need it to, and no need to waste money on monster or the like. It is too bad that Radio Shack carries Monster now, as their in house brand I used for years and have pushed thousands of watts for me without issue. Now they doubled their in house brand's price to make Monster look like an affordable "upgrade"

Shoot me a pm when you get into the tuning phase, and I am not familiar with the deck will you be able to run full active or through the passives? That dome does not like much in the way of sub 350hz with any power, which I think is where the passive is at 12db rolloff, a boost to the slope might be able to sneak that down a little and smooth out your midbass/mid transition and keep your vocals mainly in your mid.

With that pillar install I think you will be quite happy man. I know you have been at this for a while, good to see you headed down a good road.

thanx fej i dunno half of what you said but thanx pm me your number and i will give you a call when i am close to finished far as the deck its a nav unit with a 13 band eq and i will be running passive. I already got the speaker wires which i got 3 50ft rolls of 16ga street wire off of a audio forum for like $25 shipped which was enough to do both my cars far as the rca cables i have no idea what i am going with yet but i better figure that out real soon

decide on where i am going to mount the amps and xovers (thinkin behind the seats)
then make mounts for the amps and xovers
