I recently disconnected the ground on my battery to reweld the exhaust at the rear coupling left side, factory weld was not even connected ? anyway I re synced my fob and the aux button does not recognize the 12 disc factory cd changer ? I could find nothing in the manual on how to correct this, any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks MPL
I dont have the changer, but I do run my Aux sound (mp3's from the carpc) through that CorHar harness that runs to your CD changer. Sometimes it fails to recognize my Aux input also if I d/c the battery.
All I have to do to fix it is disconnect whatever is connected there (in your case the 12 CD changer) and reconnect it. If I do that and then hit Aux, it switches from the upfront CD to whatever is on the Aux input. It stays that way until I do something with the battery again.
If you remove all power from the CD changer, wait a short time. plug it back in. It will go thru the cycle reading all 12 CDs than it should be recognized by the radio.
Mine was screwed up. Went thru this process. Now it works. DON'T TRY TO ACCESS THE CHANGER while it is going thru the reset cycle or you might get ERR on the radio.
