Help with backup camera!
Hey guys,
I'm installing my AVIC-110BT this weekend with a backup camera. What is the best/easiest route to get the wiring from the rear-end to the headunit? If you can include specific instructions for what needs to be pulled, that will help a lot.

I installed a Boyo back up camera for my 110BT. It came with a long wiring harness with a small quick connect plug just off the pigtail from the cam. It was a single wire run from front to the back of the car. No additional wires needed. One hole was drilled through the back of the car from the trunk area to behind the bumper and one hole though the bumper to the license plate. If you have not purchased a camera yet, I strongly suggest you consider the Boyo camera. It cannot get any easier if you go that route and their cameras are very reliable and well recognized by installers.

remove right rear taillights, you'll see the rubber grommet in which you can make a slit and run the wiring through. don't forget to seal it after-wards. In the inside of the cargo area, just remove what makes sense to get to the wiring on that side.

I installed a Boyo. One small hole through my license plate that isn't seen, one small hole in the rear plastic to feed the wire through. I have an '02 vert and ran the wiring up and over the right rear wheel well, then brought it back out from the bottom of the front wheel well plastic trim, under the carpet, down the center hump straight to the HU.
