C4 (1993) CD Player Shot...
My CD player doesn't work on my 1993 LT1. I understand this is a pretty common problem. Is there anywhere that "refurbishes" these for a reasonable price, or should I just go to a car-stereo shop and replace it with an after-market head unit?

buy one from a 1996 on eBay and sell yours, as-is, problem disclosed. You'll still fetch good money from yours and you'll get to upgrade to the later, better electronics.

Replace it with an aftermarket unless you want to go sending it out every year or two. The cost of a repair is almost the same as replacing it with a modern unit that sounds twice as good.
