Software updates for Pioneer Avic
I have worked with a guy who can unlock Pioneer Avic hard drives and install the latest software and maps. The newest maps are out right now. Got my drive back in 5 days, Tennessee to Texas! Just got it installed so I can't comment on the new maps.

I've done my upgrades a couple years in a row. Great to do. Latest maps and the CD Ident files. ALSO will change ANY AVIC Z series to an AVIC Z3, latest version. The hardware is all the same on the Z series, just the hard drive and software / firmware was different. (Make a Z1 into a Z3)
So get a new Z3 same time you upgrade if needed.
