Vi Install
Well, I just had to report a successful install of the V1. :D :D Considering the fact I am usually a klutz when it comes to wiring anything I am fairly proud of myself. The only problem I ran into was getting the stupid tape off the harness :reddevil I had to laugh at the thought of this little wad of black tape making a fool out of this 6'2", 200 pound ex-linebacker. Now....if IU could only find a way to get the pin out of the stock shifter **** I would be able to perform another mod. I have tried every suggestion on this forum to no avail. I have now managed to bust the ears off the pin. Oh well, another day to tackle it again. Tired right now.

The VI is the best detector I have ever owned. I just used it in my Tahoe for a trip to Myrtle Beach last week and I swear it saved me at least 5 times. So as far as I am concerned it was well worth the price.
