Perforating a Door panel?
what is the best way?
I have heard of a mysterious perforating tool to do this, but I have not found one yet. I need this done to a pair of 94-96 door panels.
any suggestions

Wouldn't a simple handheld power drill do the trick?

Are you mounting the speakers to the door frame?

Yeah they are the same area where a89-older oem location is. The grills are not directlyin front of the speakers but should be close for the mid bass sound.

That looks great. Do you have a link (or at least a name) for those grills?

Many years ago Rockford fosgate made a set of perf tools in various sizes. you had to smack the hell out of it with a hevy dead blow hammer. If you did it right it would work great. However you could only perf on a flat surface. Check around at some of the stereo shops that have been around a while

Grill cloth is from Parts Express
Grills are found on the rear speakers of the 90-96 Corvettes (with BOSE)
it is the guard for the 6.5" speaker
