Bose Adapters (Which One?)
looking to install aftermarket h/u in my C5 utilizing the factory bose speakers (for now).
prices are all over the place on the adapters. is one better than the next? the Pac seems to be the cheapest.
i know... newbie question but i'd rather ask than regret. thanks!

The PAC is a great unit and the one you need to use
. The Metra I have had people send them back as the module goes bad. The RAP feature that is to allow the radio to stay on sometimes will never shut off
. Causing you to wake up to a nice dead battery the next morning.
I include PAC ROEM-VET1 in all my packages as is its the best harness to install.
just remember on the pac harness
DO NOT use the low level speaker wires
and the BLUE WHITE or amp trigger wire from radio must be wired to the blue on the ROEM_VET1

obviously, i'm a newbie here. i was hunting thru posts last night and came across your double din work and holy crap
! it's honestly what i want. you'll be hearing from, me real soon. extremely nice work!!! i'm gonna run my ida-x305s for now, but i definitely need a double din!
