Default Good shops in Austin area

I want to upgrade the audio system in my '04 Cpe. Can anyone familiar with the shops in the Austin, Texas area recommend an audio shop that does good work of Corvettes.

Default Custom Sounds

I have had Custom Sounds on Burnet Road do all of my audio installs on a 2004 Dodge Ram, 2007 Corvette, and most recently a 2010 Honda Civic. Jaime is the guy to talk to there as he is the manager. Tell him Don Drago sent you. This particular location works on everything from small install jobs to high end custom installation. The do plenty Corvettes. I have also personally witnessed them working on Vipers, Porshes, and Ferraris (actually two in shop at same time). They are not cheap but reasonable and you get what you pay for. You can work with them on price and the extent of your install. I definitely recommend them.

Thanks for the info. I had thought of going by there but hadn't made it yet. Did go to one other shop and it looks like I'll have to scrape the whole Bose system and start over. Maybe I can sell the old system and recoup part of the expense. Only used the 12 stack CD one time.

Thanks again!

You don't necessarily have to scrap the whole Bose system. I didn't and still have a great system. If you want, we can meet or you can call me and I will be happy to go over what I did and didn't do. My sound system is pretty impressive and looks great installed. I didn't spend a fortune but didn't go cheap either. Just let me know.

Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

That's a very nice offer and I may just take you up on it. I plan to visit Custom sounds as soon as I get this auto premium, H.O. premium, income tax season behind us. This is the worst time of the year.
Thanks again!
