You probably could but in all seriousness the Bose amp is just crap plain and simple. I don't think you'd be happy and you would not get the full potential from any aftermarket speakers driving them with a Bose amp. I just replaced my speakers with some Polk's and bypassed the Bose amp and used a simple 100w aftermarket amp. The sound is 100x better than stock and I'm still using the factory HU. I added another amp and a 10" sub and it's really close to exactly how I want it.
I used to have a Pontiac Grand Prix before the Vette. I replaced the factory HU and ditched the Bose amp but left all of the Bose speakers. With aftermarket amps driving them the Bose speakers actually came to life and sounded really good.
