Default False Floor in a C5

Has anyone done a false floor in a C5 coupe while retaining the targa storage mounts? I'm refering to the front mounts that the rear of the targa top plug into when you place the top in the rear of the coupe. I'm in the middle of planning out my C% audio install and the ability to do a false floor would make my life sooooo much easier in regards to selecting my amps. I know the upper piece that the targa studs actually slide into can be removed but what about the lower half? Any pics of this would be greatly appreciated!!

I am actually doing this now
I plan on having small hinged access panels to open to allow access to the mounts and to store top in car when i need it. Then when I done they will not be seen

^^ That's an interesting idea. Kind similar to what I'm thinking. I'm planning on hinging the whole middle portion so I have access to amps and processor. Also to prop it up for long drives to help with cooling. For the targa mounts I would like to remount them on top of the false floor albeit moved slightly forward to accommodate the difference in angle created by moving the mounts up roughly 3". I have noticed that the lower half of the mounts are bolted to the car itself. Can anyone tell my if there are nuts on the bottom half under the car or if the bolts just thread into the car itself? Worst case scenario I can see if I can find new lower mounts to use on the false floor. Hmm . . .

The targa top mounts in back can be removed easily. It's two pieces: The top part that is the 'cup' where the targa top pin sits, and the socket part that mounts to the car.

The 'cup' part has a pin in the bottom that holds it in place, it's just a small cam type holder... simply grab it and twist it 90 degrees and it will come out. The bottom piece is held in place with some screws. Just take those out and remove it. (You will need to pull the carpet back to see the screws.)
