Radio won't reconize Ipod Interface
I have just finished installing a Isimple Ipod interface from doubled mods. The one the hooks on back of the radio. Everything is fine but, radio won't reconize interface. I have put the 3 and 8 at ON,
Reset the ipod, let it sit for more tha 5 minutes (as intruscted) but nothing. Ipod is chargin. Also double checked all conections, but is very simple and straight foward. What else can I do? Help

I put this together for the GM10-Aux, but it may work for the isimple also:
-unplug GM10-Aux from Cor-Har changer cable
-let it sit overnight (a few hours at least)
-with car still off, plug in GM10-Aux
-let it sit for at least 10 minutes
-turn on car & radio, select changer on radio
-if it works (Disc 1 Track 1) you're done
-if it doesn't work, leave car running but turn off radio
-unplug GM10-Aux, then reconnect it
-turn on radio, it should work

What ios are you running on your ipod? My ipod worked fine until I upgraded to 4.1 and not it won't interface with the car stereo. Ipod changed something in the software and now it doesn't work It is a problem that a lot of people are having with all different types of stereos.

I just installed a PXDP (isimple) in my '01 z06 and had no audio. It recognized the PXDP as a CD changer just no sound.
I did the mentioned steps I highlighted in red and badda-bing! tunes!
Thanks guys!

I'd guess that the 10 secs of audio you hear is while the radio is 'looking' for the changer, but it doesn't find it, so switches back to FM. Try what I posted in post 3 above.
