Unfortunately many just have not heard better than JL subs which are not that musically accurate, cost more than they should, etc.........amps to much money for what they do, etc.........
For those that have not heard the difference, I respect that you love what you have, best to not listen to some of the others out there.
I have shipped quite a few subs now to replace JLs and everybody loved the improvement
I am with Kale, I think you can do better for the money, but that is not a "bad" grouping of components, just not optimal for the $$ spent IMO.
I will be posting up some reviews of the ID components, and can speak for the ID line of subs; had them in a few cars and they are some of the best performing and accurate out there no doubt.
I think it would be worthwhile to talk to Rick, very knowledgeable guy and willing to work with what your goals are.
Well the problem is I already have the sub and amp, had it for the last 6 months in the car. Felt the bose sounds like crap. I also have had the Alpine in the car. Now im just replacing the doors with the type R's and amp.
