Ipod Stereo Static?
I have a 2011 GS and when I plug my ipod into the aux input port, I get an anoying clicking or poping sound between tracks. I believe it's there in the background all the time, you just don't hear it much when a song is playing. Has anyone else experienced this problem? The volume of the 'clicking' is constant until I turn the volume all the way down, then it disappears. Is it the ipod, car stereo, ...what?

In my '08Z there is a constant background hiss on the AUX input and it is infuriating. Nothing that can be done about that but the popping and cracking isn't normal. If you move the cable around where it plugs into the stereo do you get noise? This is also very common and I had it. The best solution is to get a 90 degree adapter (can be had at Radio Shack if you want local) and plug your cable into that. I'd bet that cleans it up.
