I have a 2000 C5 convertible with the factory installed 12 disc CD changer. After taking it out of storage for the winter it won't power on. I have tried the reset method shown in the C5 audio sticky thread but it still doesn't work. The radio works, and the single disc CD player works on the radio, but the changer never shows up on the head unit. It seems like it is not getting power. Is there a fuse somewhere I am missing? I don't even care about the CD changer itself since I just bought the iPod adapter kit, but it doesn't work either since there is no power getting back there. I really don't want to have to replace the head unit just to listen to my iPod, but I am at my wits end. Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks for the response. I looked in the passenger footwell to see if the plugs were disconnected, but I don't think I knew what I was looking for. I didn't find anything disconnected though.
I'll try the volt meter and see what I can figure out. The diagrams you provided are great. Thanks.
