WTB modified PAC ADD-GM24 / issues with mine
I would like to buy a PAC ADD-GM24 that has been modified to accept RCA outputs to an amp. I am very interested in one that is confirmed to work.
The one I made has issues and does not work. 1) The plug from my PAC ADD-GM24 into the nav unit is very tight and it was very difficult for the clip to attach. I am not sure if it was fully seated. 2) When I powered everything up I had a high pitch shriek in the speakers.
After ruling out a bad ground I figured out that my modified PAC ADD-GM24 is bunk. Until I sort out a new PAC ADD-GM24 I will continue to run an ipod connected to the rca inputs on my amp. Until then, no radio, xm or cd.

they all fit tight on the radio if i recall correctly... if you had noise its in your wiring somewhere... ill give you my address, you can mail yours to me, and ill re do the rca connections for ya
