getting a new system - input please
Need some input. Me and my buddy both have 2008 coupes with the Bose systems. Mine is a nav his is non nav. We are looking at buying the following system from one of the forum vendors (we are each buying a system).
Arc 6.5 speakers for doors (comes with tweeters for doors)
Arc 10 inch Sub with sub box
Arc KS 125.4 amp for the door speakers
Arc KS 500.1 amp for the sub
Sound insulation for areas recommended by the seller
We are also planning to disconnect the rear and dash speakers and are both keeping our stock head units.
My buddy is planning to also get an Arc EQ for his system. Would the EQ add enough to the system to be worth it? If so, I will add one to mine as well. Any other comments on this system? Good or bad, lets hear it. Haven't spent the cash on it yet and am open to tweaks.

disconnecting the center and the rear speakers is a good choice. with proper speakers in the doors you really don't need them anyway. i installed those amps in the passenger footwell. it is a tight fit, but do able and stealth. am still working out a ground issue, but should have that sorted out soon (I have a recent thread on the issue that contains some pics). you and your buddy will love the upgraded system.
